David MacKay (Ph.D., Northwestern University) and Joseph Zinnes (Ph.D.,
University of Michigan) have published dozens of articles on the development and
application of probabilistic unidimensional and multidimensional models.
Their articles have appeared in the literatures of psychology, marketing,
geography, operations research and sensory analysis. Recent
applications of their models have occurred in a wide variety of fields including
consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce personalization, group
decision making, music theory, psychological assessment, public
